The City of Macon and Bibb County each appointed three individuals to serve as members of a SPLOST Advisory Committee. The County appointed the fourth member who will serve as the Chairman.

The Committee meets at least quarterly to receive updates regarding the progress of SPLOST Projects selected by City or County and prepare a quarterly monitoring report on the scheduling and progress of projects. Reports are placed on a joint webpage managedd by the City and County that will provide the public with a single source of information for SPLOST project and news. The Advisory Committee will also give input to the City and County regarding such matters as the Committee deems appropriate. The Bibb County Code of Ethics will be applicable to the members of the SPLOST Advisory Committee
