OTHER INFORMATION:

Defendant admitted negligence and liability in this collision with Plaintiffs where she pulled out from the Krispy Kreme parking lot into a busy Gray Highway.  Tamara Brown was the driver of Plaintiff’s vehicle and her passenger was her son, Bernard Brown.  The first medical attention received by both Plaintiffs was four days later when they went to see Dr. Harvey Jones.  Dr. Jones ordered diagnostic tests and provided conservative treatment to both Plaintiffs who were both discharged from his care by the fall 2006.  The Plaintiffs’ case consisted of the cross examination of Defendant, their own testimony, and the live testimony at trial of Dr. Harvey Jones.  Defendant testified on her own behalf and also presented the testimony of the property damage appraiser who had taken photographs of Plaintiff’s vehicle.  The jury deliberated about fifty minutes before returning its verdicts.
