OTHER INFORMATION:
Plaintiffs
are husband and wife. Jerretta was the driver of their vehicle with Antonio as a
passenger when their vehicle was hit head on by Defendant who crossed over the
center line. Defendant admitted liability at trial so that the only question
for the jury was the amount of damages to be awarded. Both Plaintiffs were taken by ambulance to
the Medical Center of Central Georgia emergency room where they were treated
and released. They both began
chiropractic treatment with Dr. Milton Miller, Jr., on July 27, 2004, and were
both discharged from his treatment on February 25, 2005. Neither Plaintiff had any subsequent
treatment. In addition, Antonio Jackson
had a broken left little finger which required a cast, and he claimed to have
ongoing problems with it. The Plaintiffs’
case consisted of their own testimony, the live testimony of Dr. Miller, and
the cross examination of Defendant. Defendant presented no evidence. The jury deliberated about 30 minutes before
returning its verdict.
