OTHER INFORMATION:
This red light dispute case occurred at the corner of Walnut Street and First Street. Plaintiff was a Macon police officer on duty in a Macon police patrol vehicle. He was traveling west on Walnut Street when he collided with Defendant who was traveling north on First Street. Attorney Boone Smith was sitting in his office at the corner of the building next to the intersection and heard the collision. He turned and looked at the light and testified Defendant had a green light. Despite some substantial property damage to the vehicles, neither party was hurt very bad. Defendant counterclaimed against Plaintiff and also moved to add the City of Macon as an additional Defendant in the counterclaim.
