Directions to the Old Book Sale
at Central City Park

The Old Book Sale is held in the Long Building at Central City Park. There are two entrances to the park, at Riverside Drive (U.S. 23) and at Walnut Street.  You will see the large copper-domed Round Building on your left as you drive into the park.  The Long Building is behind it.  You can park in the vicinity of the Long Building or in other adjacent areas back towards Luther Williams Field baseball park.

From I-75

Take Exit # 165 to I-16. On I-16 take Exit #2 (U.S. 80/S.R. 87/Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd/Coliseum Drive).  Turn onto Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd.  (Turn left if coming from the east and right if coming from the west) and cross the Otis Redding Memorial Bridge.  Turn left at the first traffic light onto Riverside Drive and bear left until you cross Seventh Street and reach the park entrance on your left, or you can proceed a little further to the Walnut Street entrance.

From I-16

Take Exit #2 (U.S. 80/S.R. 87/Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd/Coliseum Drive).  Turn onto Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd.  (Turn left if coming from the east and right if coming from the west) and cross the Otis Redding Memorial Bridge.  Turn left at the first traffic light onto Riverside Drive and bear left until you cross Seventh Street and reach the park entrance on your left, or you can proceed a little further to the Walnut Street entrance.
