Welcome to Tobesofkee Recreation Area

Effective July 27, 2009

Lake Tobesofkee Recreation Area is now taking reservations for campsites.  When making reservations, the following rules apply:

1. Reservations can be made up to sixty (60) days in advance.

2. Reservations can be made Monday – Friday from 9:00 a.m. till 5:00 p.m.

3. Reservations can be made over the telephone (478 - 474 - 8770)using a credit or debit card. Reservations can also be made in person using cash, check or credit/debit card.

4. Check in time is 1:00 P.M. and check out time is 12:00 noon.

5. A two night minimum is required for weekend reservations (Friday, Saturday or Saturday, Sunday), and a three-night minimum is required for Memorial Day, Labor Day, Independence Day, and Thanksgiving.

6. You may cancel your reservation up to 3 days prior to your reservation.  Afterwards, there will be a 10.00 cancellation charge.

7. If you do not arrive on the first night of your stay, you will be considered as a no-show, your reservation will be cancelled, and you will forfeit your reservation dollars.

8. Campgrounds offer full electrical and water hookups, as well as disposal stations for sanitary purposes.  Lakefront and lake view sites are available along with boat ramps, clean bath facilities, coin operated laundries and a full-time staff for your convenience and safety.  The campground also offers permanent charcoal grills and picnic tables for campers.

9. All campfires must be kept in a designated area such as fire rings.

10. Quiet hour is 11:00 P.M.

11. All pets must be kept on a leash at all times.

12. No outside appliances are allowed.

13. No alcoholic beverages are allowed.
