MISSION

The mission of Bibb County Government Human Resources is to provide services for Managers and Employees in the areas of hiring, orientation, benefits, compensation, training, performance management, disciplinary action and grievances.

Our Goal is to provide accurate and timely information to Managers and Employees, assist them in performing functions which relate to Human Resource issues, and promote a bond between the Manager and the Employee.

Bibb County is a participating party in the electronic verification for employment eligibility of new hires. Effective date July 9, 2007; User ID 47730

ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Human Resources has been awarded grants for wellness activities from ACCG in 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010 A comprehensive Wellness Program was implemented for Bibb County Employees in 2010 A series of Supervisory Development classes was developed and presented in 2010.

Bel Wall is the custodian of records and documents for the Civil Service Board.
